Internet Newsletter for Lawyers: Major cost savings through more intelligent legal research

Recently, our Head of Commercial Development, Aidan Hawes, published an article in the Internet Newsletter for Lawyers. His article discusses the costs of legal research, which are increasingly borne by law firms, and questions why this isn’t something the legal industry typically identify as an area where major cost savings are possible. By considering what legal research tools can and should be offering, he argues that major cost savings are possible when time-consuming research tasks are instead handled quickly by machines, freeing up legal practitioners to apply their skills in analysing, synthesising, and drafting.
