Justis NewsJustis to sponsor BIALL 40th anniversary party7th September 2007
Justis Publishing is sponsoring a party to celebrate the first 40 years of the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL). Taking place at Delfina in central London, the party’s theme is the 1960s, in honour of the decade in which the leading librarians’ organization was founded. Over 100 librarians from across the UK and Ireland have already confirmed their attendance for the bash, which starts at 7 o’clock and includes food, drink and entertainment. However, at the time of writing, a few spaces remain. Tickets are £10 for members and £20 for non-members. For a chance to join the revellers, email communications@justis.com as soon as you can. All profits from the event will be split between two charities – the Wallace Breem Memorial Fund and Cancer Research UK. And for once, Justis Publishing won’t be demonstrating its full-text Justis legal library or its provider neutral JustCite citator, though you are of course welcome to ask about them.
