Justis NewsFree EU content for all visitors to Justis28th September 2009
Prominently displayed on the homepage, EU bulletins provide concise summaries of the most important regulations and developments from Europe. Crucially, each bulletin details the hows, whys and likely effects of each piece of proposed or adopted legislation it discusses, eliminating your need to identify and trawl through important documents yourself. Selected and written in plain English by our specialist EU editor, in collaboration with the European Information Association (EIA), the feed is updated daily at 9.30am and can be viewed for free by all visitors. Each summary is included in our new EU bulletin RSS feed and added to a permanent archive on the website. Bulletins are searchable to subscribers of our Daily Cases. And links to European content on Justis and JustCite are included for legislation and cases cited in bulletins. Furthermore, the bulletins are themselves viewable on the JustCite homepage. Librarians will find this useful, but this current awareness content has been written as much with the practitioner in mind. So even if you don’t subscribe to Justis or JustCite, your fee-earning colleagues should be directed to our EU bulletins if they deal with EU-influenced areas such as competition, IP, employment, environment, and immigration law.
