After what seems like months but is in fact only three since our plans were announced, First Law’s current awareness service has gone live and is ready to use on the intuitive Justis platform. Reported in today's Irish Times ahead of the official launch party in Dublin this Thursday, this move brings a wealth of up-to-date case law and legislation information to Justis, perfectly complementing its long-established Irish Reports. Existing users of First Law, whose access transfers across to Justis today, will benefit from: First Law’s barristers will continue to prepare summaries of all judgments before they are posted on our site, saving you time. Updated every working day, the service includes: Bart D. Daly, BL, founder and managing director of First Law, said: “We have been delivering to the Irish practitioner Irish law since 1999 and our archive of judgments – all with head notes – Statutory Instruments and Statues have grown to some 17,000 documents. On the Justis platform the First Law online service will be improved and can offer a wider range of facilities including IP authorisation.”
