Customer liaison and training
Justis Publishing has appointed a dedicated Customer Liaison Manager and Trainer for users of Justis and JustCite. The move reflects the company’s redoubling of efforts in helping people adapt to the enhanced services it now offers and encouraging their ideas to be aired.
The post has been filled by internal candidate David Finch, which should come as no great surprise to the countless customers who valued the help and advice he gave in his previous capacity as Account Manager.
A long-established and popular member of the Justis family, David said he has come to know the company’s products inside-out and back-to-front. “I’ve worked in sales here for half a decade,” he added, “and though I’m sad to leave my colleagues in that department, I relish the prospect of putting the knowledge I’ve accumulated over the years to even better use in this exciting new role.”
Early signs that he will succeed look promising. Chris Maiden of Appleby, a leading provider of offshore legal, fiduciary and administration services, commented on a recent session undertaken by David, one of his first as customer trainer: “He provided an entertaining and well-informed introduction to the JustCite and Justis products. Even for those of us who had some prior familiarity, the insights he provided were invaluable. They showed us how the products had been improved and thoughtfully integrated with other proprietary research tools.”
Offering more than one-way advice, David will equally focus on relaying users’ comments to the technical team at Justis Publishing. Through focus groups, ad hoc face-to-face sessions, telephone exchanges and correspondence, customers will now have more of a say in the development of Justis and JustCite. “Justis and JustCite belong to our customers,” said Jonathan Daymond, Sales and Marketing Director, “and David is their voice in the company.”
