South African conference-goers to meet virtual next-door neighbours at SAOUG gathering

28th May 2008

Delegates hoping to see the finest collection of online legal material this side of the Transvaal at the Ninth South African Online Information Meeting are in luck, as two representatives of Justis Publishing will be jetting down from London to join them next month.

In attendance throughout from the 3rd to the 5th of June at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria, they will showcase the Justis full-text online legal library, along with the provider-neutral citator JustCite.

Available in full later this year, we’ll have a sample on our stand of the new International Law Reports online database, along with the means and ready willingness to demonstrate the rest of Justis and JustCite, much of it eminently suitable for jurisdictions – like South Africa – that incorporate common law into their legal systems.

Offering the most user-friendly and intuitive platforms to its services, Justis Publishing makes a virtue of its relatively small size when dealing with foreign customers. And, in the case of South Africa, we may be 6,000 miles away but we’re in virtually the same time zone, so customers there enjoy the personal attention one might expect of one living next door.

So if you’re planning to attend, make sure you visit us on Stand 28 by the refreshments, if for nothing else than to pick up a new Justis Publishing Rubik’s Cube, enter our free draw for a Barrister Bear and say hello to the neighbours.
