We are pleased to announce that JustisOne Alerting is now live for all users of the service.
JustisOne Alerts notify you, by email, whenever new cases or Acts are added to JustisOne that meet your criteria. You can set up JustisOne Alerts based on jurisdiction, court, category or any search you conduct.
How to set up your Alerts
The broadest of these are alerts based on jurisdiction, which you can set up by selecting the Jurisdictions section of the Alerts tab in My Justis as shown below.
To generate more specific alerts, the Courts section of the Alerts tab enables users to select from a range of courts across many jurisdictions as shown below. You can create alerts for the most senior courts in any jurisdiction.
You can set up highly focused alerts based on any search in JustisOne. This flexible way of creating alerts is a powerful way to stay up-to-date with highly relevant content. To create these alerts simply click on Setup Alert and in the menu that appears (as shown below) amend the Alert Name or Email Subject Line if desired, select the frequency of the emails you wish to receive, and click Create Alert. Alerts created from your search results can be seen from the Searches section of the Alerts tab in My Justis.
If there are cases you regularly use during the course of your practice, an alert based on a search for that case will inform you when it is subsequently cited, enabling you to quickly determine if it remains good law or if you may need to reconsider how and when you use it.
There is no restriction on the content that alerts can be set up for. We want to ensure that you don’t miss anything.
